Terrilynn, Thanks for the visit. There is an IKEA being built in or near Charlotte; it is supposed to open in 2008 or 09. I read that they said if they get a lot of people from this area down there, they will consider putting a store here.


Oh I love poetry as well. Thanks for the heads up that it is National Poetry month. My 17 year old enoys poetry as well and her favorite book is still Shel Silverstein's 'Where the Sidewalk Ends.' A great collection of poetry for children. BTW, it is snowing in Boone this morning (Saturday). 4 inches on the ground. Gonna go pull on my boots and take photos.


My father taught us that one and some other good ones like: Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?
I think my dad was responsible for my love of word play.
