I've never been one to pass up a good meme, the lazy writer's way to update.  This one comes from the fabulous Kimberly of Music and Cats.

Seven things I plan to do before I die:
1. Rock my great-grandchild in my granny's rocking chair
2. Swim in the Pacific Ocean
3. Get back my pre-kid body---and keep it
4. Go to the inaugural of a Democratic president
5. Ride to Cure Diabetes
6. Write that book
7. Go to The Best of Our State weekend at the Grove Park Inn

    I'm with you on the "getting the pre-kid body back".Now I just need the motivation.

    Oh, I like this one! I might have to work on it. As for your seventh thing that you cannot do, I just found out that one of the people I have been endorsing for our non-partisan City Council race is a registered Republican! LOL! I didn't laugh at first.

    John Mellencamp is one of mine. I just saw a wonderful movie with Sam Elliot in it called Off the Map. I loved it!

    Ha! I put "Vote Republican" too!!

    You know what? I was in the best shape ever AFTER I had my first kid (not right after... 4 years after). Better than my before-kid body. The key was that I was still in my 30s. Then, at 40, I had Lucas and it's been much harder to get into that kind of shape. Especially without trying. ;)
