Mother mother ocean
I have heard you call
These are the feet of a happy woman.
This is the view I had for three glorious solitary hours yesterday.
Today I have to devote most of my late morning/early afternoon to a JDRF Walk function and right now it's fixing to rain and tomorrow Liam wants me to chaperon his field trip, so those three hours are likely to be all the time I get this week. I needed them desperately and I gulped them down like a cold drink on a hot afternoon.
Things are still a trainwreck around here but maybe, just maybe, those three hours gave me enough strength to get through the rest of the week without shrieking.
Love the ocean photo; I can almost hear the gentle lapping of the waves.

Great Buffett reference. A poet for all seasons.
